Since its conception Astral have been prolific on the festival circuit, over the years we have been at The V’s, Leeds, Reading, Glastonbury, Womad and many others. We have provided covered stages, lighting, decor and sound for these events. With a large stock of outdoor lighting we are renowned for our environmental lighting installations and were the lighting suppliers from the very beginning of Lost Vagueness when it was an underground venue at Glastonbury, we supplied it though out its existence and now continue to supply the same area under its current incarnation as Shangri La.
As a result of our environmental lighting packages we have a huge stock of cable and distribution which allows us not only to light venues but to distribute them as well putting us in a great position to supplement your power provider’s distributions systems or we can provide the generator sets for you. As an award winning green company (Highly commended finalist in the Environment Awards for Kent Business plus Creative Business of the Year in Medway) we are able to provide bio diesel generators running on recycled vegetable oil or provide diesel generators and recommend the most effective offsetting available so that you can ensure that if you have to offset you can make it count.
We can supply a number of stages complete with lighting in existing festival venues at any one time and in addition to this have three covered stage systems that can operate simultaneously. This puts us in a great position to provide infrastructure packages for events.
Branding and Marketing at festivals
Over the years we at Astral have supplied many organisations with branding and marketing opportunities at festivals, we have offered companies the opportunity to ‘buy into’ the underground cool that is associated with our particular style of production. Activities may be as obvious as a simple brand projection or as complex as producing a whole venue with subliminal branding within a brand sensitive event. This kind of activities offers the brand exposure in front of huge quantities of potential consumers.
